Tooty is an online open marketplace connecting students and tutors. Our platform allows users to offer and request tutoring services, search, join, and schedule lessons, conduct lessons via chatrooms (including video, audio, and messaging), and facilitate payments through Stripe.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental/legal guardian consent) to use Tooty. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and all activities conducted under your account. You must provide accurate and current information.

4. Independent Relationship Between Users

Tooty does not employ, represent, or control tutors or students. All users act independently.
Tooty does not verify tutors’ qualifications, abilities, or backgrounds.
Students are solely responsible for evaluating and vetting tutors before engaging or making payments.

5. Payment Terms

Payments between students and tutors are processed via Stripe. Tooty does not hold funds, control agreements, or mediate disputes.
Students and tutors must independently agree on payment terms before lessons.
Tooty is not responsible for refunds, non-performance, cancellations, or financial disagreements between users.

6. Communication Tools & Lesson Delivery

Tooty provides integrated chatrooms with video, audio, and messaging features for lesson delivery. We do not monitor or moderate communications, record sessions, or guarantee functionality. Users are fully responsible for all communications and conduct during sessions. Recording sessions without mutual consent is prohibited.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

Users may not engage in illegal, abusive, or harmful behavior, harass or exploit other users, circumvent payment systems, or share offensive or unauthorized content. Violation may result in account termination without liability to Tooty.

8. No Warranties

Tooty is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We make no warranties regarding tutor qualifications, lesson outcomes, or platform performance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: Tooty, its owners, affiliates, and employees shall have ZERO LIABILITY for any claims, damages, losses, disputes, or liabilities arising from tutor-student interactions, payments, lesson outcomes, communications, or misuse of the platform. Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of Tooty.

10. Indemnification

You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless Tooty, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, violations of these Terms, or disputes with other users.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, and without liability.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
